Physical and Chemical Properties of Household Items

Grade 9s wrote a quiz to show their knowledge and understanding of the periodic table. They then completed a self-assessment on the metal detective investigation report they handed in today. We began an new activity where students will investigate the physical and chemical properties of household items. Students got as far as describing hardness and colour. We will continue this investigation on Monday.
