Carbon
Today we learned that charcoal, graphite, and diamonds are all made of carbon. Grade 9s described their physical characteristics and the differences in the organization of their carbon atoms. We also had a go at electroplating today using graphite and copper. Students are asked to complete the practice questions for this lesson and to study for the unit test which takes place on Wednesday.
