Patterns in the Periodic Table

Grade 9s learned about chemical families and the chemical and physical properties of each family. They also learned about reactivity trends in periods of the table. We reviewed the work Dmitri Mendeleev did on the periodic table, including predicting elements that had not yet been discovered.
