Groups of organs with specific structures and functions work together as systems, which interact with other systems in the body. The development and uses of technology to maintain human health are based, in part, on the changing needs of society.

Electric Cells
Grade 9 students learned that an electric cell is made up of two electrodes and an electrolyte. Students used a multimeter to measure the voltage of batteries we have in class. They also created a pickle cell and used the multimeter to measure the voltage across different electrodes. Finally students read about fuel cells.
