Animals: Structure and Function

Groups of organs with specific structures and functions work together as systems, which interact with other systems in the body.
The development and uses of technology to maintain human health are based, in part, on the changing needs of society.

Games Afternoon

In yesterday's fundraising assembly, students were delighted to learn that they had raised over $5000. That meant that the top earners for the day got to pie Mr. Sawatsky. Mr. Sawatsky tried to slip out of the building when he heard the news, but he was unsuccessful. Students and teachers were thrilled at this outcome! ;-).

Grade 9 students won an afternoon of games in yesterday's spring fundraiser assembly. As a result we did not have science class today. Grade 9s have promised that they will work through the chapter on their own for homework in order to not miss out on the games afternoon.
